| When I was relocating to Austin 2 1/2 years ago, Steve came highly recommended to assist me with locating an apartment. From the beginning, he made me feel welcome in the new city. He spent 2 days driving me around before I finalized my decision and all I was doing was renting an apartment, not purchasing a home! | I have known Steve Adams for over 40 years; my wife and I have sold three homes and bought one with Steve. My first home at 3515 Roanoke Drive in Cedar Park Texas 78613 was listed for 132,900 in 2009 and sold in 12 days for $130,000. The second home we sold with Steve was 1814 Hickory Ridge Cove in Round Rock Texas was listed for 153,000 in 2010 and sold for 157,050 in 5 days. Our new home at 19404 Moorlynch Ave. in Pflugerville Texas which we purchased through Steve in 2010 and then just three months ago we sold my parent’s home with Steve at 9400 Clearock Drive Austin Texas for 370,000 in 23 days. | Steve rises above most realtors, in my opinion, because you feel confident that he represents you 110%. He is knowledgeable, communicative, and results driven. As buyers, Steve has warned us about precarious situations, like if a greenbelt behind a prospective house is likely to be developed in the future or If it will likely take awhile to resell due to a busy thoroughfare behind a backyard. In addition to representing us as buyers, he has given us his advice as sellers at the same time, such as enhancing the display of our home to make it look more attractive. He's very accessible when you need him and responds within minutes when he is not reachable. One can wait all day and beyond for an informed answer to a question from other realtors but Steve confers with his peers and gets back to you quickly. He keeps abreast of the real estate market and mortgage rate trends along with costs for taxes, the social atmosphere of an area, and quality of schools. He informs you about an area such as proximity of conveniences, sends you daily emails for availability of homes per your parameters, points out features of homes such as an energy saving tech shield for attic roofs, and provides some handy tools to help you look at a home. He'll prepare detailed brochures with photos of homes before touring them including some that would be on the market soon. He'll give you pointers on how to beat out competition on homes that would be considering all offers. To sum up, my understanding is that Steve has been a realtor for many years, seems to have a passion for the business, has helped me find a great home in a short period of time, and would get my rating of 5 stars for customer service. | To Whom It May Concern: It is with great appreciation and the best intentions that we write this brief summation of our experience with Steve Adams, a realtor with your firm. Our experiences in the past have taught us to seek out and employ an individual whose values and commitment to service resembles ours. Steve Adams is one such person whose aid in our search for a home and transition to this beautiful state far exceeded our needs and expectations. We began our query for a home in Central Texas in April of 2009. Unfortunately, busy schedules and residency in South Florida hampered our efforts. After doing some preliminary research and outlining our home criteria, we conducted an internet search for a realtor to work with. We held phone interviews and preliminary home searches with several other realtors before finding Steve. We decided to employ him based on his professional presentation, friendly nature, and the relevancy the results he provided for our query. Not only did Steve provide highly relevant results, he went out of his way to explain the demographics, purchase/ price histories, known problems, and future market value of each zone we were considering. In addition, Steve was very hospitable during our trips to view prospective homes. He provided dinner and lunch on more than one occasion. Once we found the ideal home, Steve went so far as to invite us to a social networking event near his home. Contractual disagreements between the seller and us were difficult. Steve worked hard to negotiate the proper price as well as winning additional fixtures the seller planned to take. He stood in our absence for the home inspection, and completed a walk-through prior to close. Not once did we feel pressured by Steve. He always made sure we were comfortable with our purchase decision and put us in contact with professionals that valued our business and respected our time.
