Sasha Bakhru was born and raised in Albany, NY. He studied biomedical engineering at Columbia(BS), materials science at Johns Hopkins(MSE), biomedical engineering at Carnegie Mellon(PhD), and biotechnology at Brown as a postdoctoral fellow. He is now VP, CTO, and Co-Founder at Perosphere Inc, a specialty pharmaceuticals company, and an adjunct assistant professor of medical science at Brown University in Providence, RI
