I have really only had two careers, teaching or real estate. I love helping people and educating them and real estate has allowed me to do both. I have also worked in both the mortgage industry and with closing attorneys. I feel I have all of the bases covered. If there is a problem, I know where to go and I know what to do to try and correct it. I love to solve problems so I guess that's why I have been successful. My heart belongs to new construction. I have worked for many of the builders in the Memphis area over the last 20 years. I am a Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Club, Graduate of the Real Estate Institute, and an Accredited Buyer Representative. I love watching communities form and really get excited when new neighbors meet. It's most gratifying for me when a client finds the home that fits their needs. You can count on me for "real" world advice and professional help when locating your new home.
I fell in love with new construction when my parents began searching for a new home when I was in high school. I just couldn't look at enough homes. I still love going thru new floor plans trying to figure out what I like best. I've built 4 homes and still sit and dream about the next one. I think new constuction just offers so many options. You can have it built so that it best fits your needs. I love that everything is new. Don't have to worry about the added expense if something breaks. Grant homes has over 80 developed lots in Collierville and we are priced from 300 to 350! An incredible value in Collierville. We offer many plans with 3 to 4 bedrooms on the main level! Close to 385, Carriage Crossing, and everywhere you need to go. We offer excellent schools,small homesite, and a builder that's been building for over 60 years! That's just incredible in this market.
I also love first time buyers. I like to explain all of the processes of buying their first home. From contract, to mortgage, to closing- I'll be there advising you. Just as when teaching school, I can explain the same thing 7 different ways until my client thoroughly understands what is going to happen. We form a very close relationship and the friendship does not end when the closing papers are signed! I love what I do and the great people I get to work with. I wouldn't trade this job for any other.
