My philosophy is "become involved--don't complain!" 

When I became a realtor, I chose to work with Steinborn Inc., Reators because Steinborn had a long-standing reputation in the Las Cruces community for being knowledgeable and ethical--two attributes which are important for me, and that I know are important for all my clients.  After 12 years with Steinborn, moved my license to RE/MAX Infinity.  It was a difficult decision but also time for a change for me. 

As Las Cruces is becoming known for being an ideal retirement community, housing requirements are changing to appeal to the retiring population moving into this area.  As a realtor, I have to be able to provide the knowledge and resources to find the perfect home for their well-earned retirement years.  At the same time, I need to be able to use the same knowledge and resources to find homes for clients with much different needs and lifestyles.  The client's needs must come first whether they are seeking a quiet retirement community or a good neighborhood for a young family. 

I believe it is important for a realtor to be knowledgeable about the changes in the industry and the community.  I have been awarded the prestigious Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) designation which is held by less than three-percent of REALTORS nationwide.  I also hold the Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR), E-Pro, Graduate of the Realtor Institute (GRI), Shortsale and Foreclosure Specialist (SFR) and the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES) designations.   I completed the NAR GREEN designation in March and am currently working on my ASD, Accredited Shortsale Designation.  With all the rapid changes in legislation, disclosure and techinology, I don't believe I can ever have too much education to represent my clients/customer's best interests.

 I have been chosen by the Affiliates of the Las Cruces Association of Realtors as the Affiliates Choice Award for the year 2005. I have been the President of the Las Cruces Multiple Listing and Information Service. I am the 2010 President of the Las Cruces Association Board of Directors.    I am also a Director on the Las Cruces Multiple Listing and Information Service.  I also service on the Realtors Association of New Mexico (RANM) on the By-Laws and Nominating Committees and on the Board of Directors. I was chosen to be a member of the Realtors Association of New Mexico's Leadership Class of 2005-2006. 

I have served the community on the Las Cruces Board of Adjustment and on the City of Las Cruces Planning and Zoning Commission.   Am currently a member of the Downtown Revitalization Ad Hoc Committee. I am a member of the Rio Grande Rotary Club and haved served as the Treasurer and on the Board of Director.  I am the Pres-elect and will be President 2010-2011.

I enjoy meeting meeting and working with people from the many places around the country to help them find the home that is just right for them.  Most of my clients have become my friends!  I can't think of any other "job" that has that benefit!
