Shay's business philosophy is the same as when he started out 15 years ago and that is; doing business the old-fashion way, which is to build a relationship based on value and expertise.  This relationship doesn't end when the loan is finalized; as he will always be available to answer any mortgage questions.

Shay was born and raised in Northern Virginia and graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree.  He is a licensed loan officer in the State of North Carolina and in his 15 years of originating mortgages he has closed over 1,000 mortgages.

Shay has a long record of working with First Time Home Buyers using such programs as FHA, VA, USDA and NCHFA.

Shay and his wife, Irene have 4 children and 8 grandchildren and reside in Raleigh, NC.

"My goal since day one is to provide a stress free closing with no surprises.  I accomplish this by meeting the borrower face to face, whenever possible, and explain the mortgage process, time lines and setting reasonable expectations.  I am also available after the closing to answer mortgage questions."
