Back in January 1977 when I first got into this business the Multiple Listing Book was the coolest thing since sliced bread. We have evolved to this wonderful time of computers with loads of information being readily available to all. This is accomplished with the many websites of real estate companies, licensed agents, newspapers, county records, etc., all available at the click of a mouse instantly. My role as an agent has changed from one of gathering information to helping sort out what is applicable to each clients needs. The paperwork needed to close a transaction has multiplied many times over.
