Since starting my journey in real estate, I have enjoyed finding a new challenge in every home I sell. I love meeting new people and helping them through the stress associated with buying and selling real estate, and trying to make the experience an enjoyable one! I have helped over 150 families sell or buy a home. I specialize in residential homes & lots and farm/ranch properties.
Born in Killeen, TX in 1973, I learned quickly how to adapt to new environments, moving to Austin, Charlotte NC, New Orleans LA, Houston, and Midland all before the age of 9. A short time later, I moved to Brownwood where my stepfather introduced my family to the life of farming.
On 320 acres outside of Santa Anna, we raised cattle. After obtaining my degree from Texas A&M, I returned to manage the farm after health problems prevented my stepfather from continuing. I was fully responsible for maintaining the property and the livestock.
After selling the farm, I moved on to work in the fields of retail sales and heavy equipment sales. Then one day, I walked away to work in the world of thoroughbred horse racing. I learned from the ground up and have never had a more rewarding experience (until now!).
I am excited to get up every day to see what the real estate world holds for me and my clients. You won't find an agent that will be more prepared, knowledgeable or harder working than me! I will make sure that your interests are put first and that you are happy with your home purchase or sale!
I have helped 150+ families market their homes or land for sale and have continued that success through over my career, as well as helping many others find their new home. | We just finished the purchase of a house with Shelley as our realtor. She did not let the smallest detail slip by and the whole process went smoothly. With our many questions, her responsiveness was phenomenal. We are soon to conclude another property purchase, but this one has been rocky. This deal has included contradictory information, missing papers, slow responsiveness, and many change-of-terms surprises. In every instance, Shelley has been absolutely professional and courteous but has also protected us astutely. I highly recommend Shelley. We will continue to use her as our realtor in the future. |
