Originally from Pakistan, Sonny remained in his homeland until he completed his masters degree in philosophy at the age of 21. At that time, he came to the United States to pursue a second master's degree in Business Administration. Shortly after, his entrepreneurial drive led him to Long Island to pursue an opportunity in Automotive Finance. Also, observant of his surroundings, he saw the potential of the explosive real estate market and began to invest. Putting these two facets of his life together, Sonny realized mortgage finance was a natural fit.

Sonny is also an active licensed real estate agent with Town & Country Real Estate in their Mattituck office located on Main Road on the beautiful North Fork.
In his spare time, Sonny enjoys playing cricket and squash as well as reading poetry and philosophy. Additionally, his passion for politics is only equaled by his passion for cooking Afghani, Pakistani and Indian cuisine, although the food always tastes better when enjoyed with his friends.
