Hi, I’m Sue Proud, a REALTOR® and founder of YOUR PROUD HOME Group-KW Inspire, an Accredited Staging Professional® and owner of PROUD HOME Staging, LLC.

I’m from Houston, Texas; Cincinnati, Ohio; Wilmington, North Carolina; Albuquerque, New Mexico…in other words, I’ve moved a lot.

I’ve lived all over the United States before making the Fox Valley my permanent home for the past 16 years. Our children were raised here, so I know the schools, neighborhoods and features of the area well.

WHY I’M DIFFERENT

Because of my past eight family relocations, I understand what it is like to be both the Buyer and the Seller. I have sold my own staged homes quickly, worked with builders to design custom homes and remodeled existing homes. I have walked in your shoes.

I have years of combined professional experience as a Realtor®, Accredited Staging Professional®, Kitchen Designer, Decorator, Graphic Designer, Sales Specialist, Instructional Designer and Educator. Adding my professional experience to my years as a DIY’er gives me a unique perspective.

Through owning my Home Staging business, I know how to help Sellers highlight and market their home so it connects with potential Buyers. When helping Buyers, I’m able to suggest possibilities to transform a house into their home; a home to meet their needs.

I BELIEVE IN GIVING BACK

I am a member of The Greater Chicago International Association of Home Staging Professionals® (IAHSP®) and served on the Board for 3 years. As part of this organization, I give back to the community each year by volunteering for World Wide Staging Service Week® and other charitable organizations.

As a Realtor® with KW Inspire, I spend a day away from my business each May to serve worthy organizations and causes within the Fox Valley community. This day of service is part of the annual Keller Williams RED Day.

ON A PERSONAL NOTE…

I am married to my high school sweetheart and we share the same birthday (but he’s a year older…hehe). Our family is my greatest joy. I love DIY projects, Chicago sports, painting, movies and chocolate; not necessarily in that order.
