Honesty & Integrity, with a Sense of Humor... Hi, My name is Suzi Maki and I am one of the Associate Brokers in the Grand Lake Office of RE/MAX Resorts of Grand County. I have lived in Grand Lake since 1995 and have been very active in the politics, the recreation, the development, and the overall fun of this beautiful place. I was the Event Coordinator for the Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce and planned such events as the Buffalo BBQ, Fall Festival, and the wildly popular Winter Carnival and Mardi Gras. I also volunteer for the Juniper Library, Grand Lake Area Arts Council, the Grand Lake Metro Recreation District, Grand Lake Chamber and am on the Board of the Repertory Theatre. My husband and I were voted "Citizens of the Year" for the Grand Lake Area in 2009.  Networking and keeping in touch with the community at large is very important to me.

I am married and we have a teen-age son. My Husband is a contractor and is on the town council. My son graduated from high school and was on his way to college but has been delayed a year because of injuries from a major car accident this summer.

I have owned and run several businesses over the years but I feel I have found my niche in real estate. In 2007 I earned my GRI designation in real estate. I was on the MLS committee of our Grand County Board for 3 years. Currently, I am serving my third year on the Board of Realtors and am the President.  In 2008 I had the great honor of being selected "Realtor of the Year" for Grand County.
