Theresa Barton is a lifelong residence of Monroe County. Married with 3 active children. She received her real estate license in 2004. During the collapse of the market Theresa maintained her production by helping other obtain foreclosed properties, she then started working for the banks directly which carried out for 7 years. During the time, Theresa became an expert in foreclosed properties and negotiating multiple offers. Since the increase of market values Theresa has focused more on taking these skills with helping sellers and buyers to sell their houses for the highest price as well as negotiating for buyers to obtain their dream homes!! Theresa has obtained the Accredited Buyers Representation designation along with The Certified Negotiation Expert designation . Theresa has also completed the Master Sales Society Training that puts her at the top 10% elite group of real estate agents in their industry receiving specialized education.

Theresa has been awarded the Certified Negotiation Expert (CNE) designation from the Real Estate Negotiation Institute (RENI). Agents who receive this certification are among the top agents in the country in negotiation skills. Theresa is a member of The YMCA and is an active Licensed Foster Care Provider. She donates to the Disabled Veterans Services and the United Way of Greater Houston. She also assists her husband in coaching travel softball
