When looking for a Real Estate Professional to assist you in your purchase there are 3 things that should set the right one apart.
1.) Does the Agent know the market

3.) Is the Agent willing to listen to what I want
I have lived in the Knoxville area most of my life. I was born here, I went to School here, I have raised my family here and I plan on staying here. I have lived in all parts of the Knoxville area, East, North, South and West. I know the Knoxville Market!
I have been a licensed Bulding Contractor. I built homes and have been and still am active in the Home Builders Association of Greater Knoxville. When I was old enough to work construction my Dad had me working wiring houses in the Summers between School. I know Houses!
I love talking to people and finding out what they want when they are looking for a home. I guess that is why I loved building homes, I could find out what they wanted and try to build their home to match their dreams. Now I get to search with all the great resources that I have at my disposal to find a home that fits their dreams. You see I know it doesn't matter what I like or would want it is all about what my clients want.
If you noticed in my writings above I don't use the term "house" very often. That goes back to a saying that I used in my Building days. " Building a House you call Home". You see it isn't just about finding a house. Its about:
"Finding a House that You Call Home!!"
With my experience with Home Building I feel I can give a buyer an insight into how a builder thinks as too what they can do to customize a home to their needs. I can definitly advise a buyer who wants a new or newer home as too what to expect from a builder who is different from a most other home sellers.
Over the last couple of years I have gone on many trips "judging" Parade of Homes and Sales and Marketing Awards all through the South. I have seen a lot of great Homes and I feel like I have a good eye for what should be in an upper market homes. I can help those buyers who are looking for the upper level homes to sort through the substance and the fluff to find the perfect home.
I have been building in an active retirement area for the past 12 years and I have learned what kind of amenities a retiree wants, needs and expects. This expertise allows me to serve this part of the market that has become a large, and will become larger, segment of the Real Estate Market here in the Knoxville area.
