Our geographic areas of expertise range from Colfax in the east to Loomis in the west, from Foresthill in the south to Nevada City in the North.  We are experts in the towns of Auburn, Loomis, Newcastle, Foresthill, Meadow Vista, Christian Valley, Colfax, Weimar, Grass Valley, Nevada City, Alta Sierra, Cedar Ridge, and Lake of the Pines (where we live). 

We also work in the vast rural areas between those towns, especially in an area known in the real estate community as "South County." These lands begin just north of the Bear River between Auburn and Grass Valley and continue north toward Nevada City.  This is a sweet, temperate area of rolling hills and oak forests, ponds, lakes, creeks, and rivers.  CJ and I like to call our territory The Golden Hills.

CJ (Christine Jenkins) and I are partners in life and business.  We work as a real estate team, each providing our own strengths and interests, complimenting each other. Sometimes CJ takes the lead, sometimes I'm on point.  If one of us is not available, the other will be.  We work seven days a week.

CJ is the classic "people person."  She loves to meet new people and she will spend endless hours showing homes and land to her clients.  She probably knows the real estate inventory in our area better than any other agent.  (She's my wife and since I'm writing this, I get to brag about her).  It's true!  She is an active participant and leader in TWO different Multiple Listing Services (Metrolist that serves Placer, Sacramento, El Dorado and other Northern California Counties and Paragon that serves Nevada County).  She is also a tought, shrewd negotiator.

I am the "closer" and technician.  My principal duties begin when our clients make or receive an offer.  I assist with the negotiation and take care of the escrow.  I enjoy solving the legal and technical aspects of real estate transactions.  I understand how homes and property "work."  My specialties include inspections, well and septic issues, construction and maintenance. I am also the computer and internet guy.

Together we share in the work of marketing the properties we represent.  When clients work with us, they get two for one.
