I am a "people" person, born and raised on Long Island. I LISTEN to my Sellers and my Buyers. I go that extra step or mile, to be SURE I get what they need and want. We all know that the market has changed, but with that change, I have changed too. Real Estate has changed allot recently, and I believe for the better in some ways. Our company has moved forward and changed "WITH IT". EVERYONE deserves a fair share in owning a home, and in some ways we have gotten to a point where our own children couldn't afford to stay here anymore, and now they have a good shot at the American Dream here on this beautiful Island. They have the opportunity to stay right here with us. I want other parents to feel the same way. We at Century 21 American Homes understand this new market, and have educated all of the agents to educate the public too.

We are a ONE STOP SHOP. Here you can sell or purchase a home, re-model your existing home with our great customer service dept, or even work on your new home and make it "your" home. Our customer service Dept is second to none. We help both buyer and sellers in anything needed in the buying or selling process. We have reputable mortgage planners to take you through each step of the way, and also have attorneys if you don't have one, to protect you every step as well. This dept has everything from soup to nuts. Iincluding but not limited to engineers, landscapers, painters, plumbers, roofers, contractors, termite inspectors, etc.. You have a household problem? We have a more than qualified person to address it and reasonable too.

I myself am a hard worker in the agency, a family person,a team player (as we all are), BUT most of all a MOM! So you know I multi task. I meet your needs, I am honest, trustworthy, a great listener, and I most of all, get the job done. My customers not only walk away happy, they refer me on to their friends and family, and that has to say allot. I want YOU to be that person or family too. I'd like to say that I am  a "people" person. I especially LOVE to work with FIRST time buyers. I call them property virgins. For some it's a scary process purchasing your first home. I try my hardest to take that anguish away. I relax people, and make them feel at home already. Buyers and Sellers today read so many things in the paper, but what they don't realize is that the paper isn't 100% true, and that in most cases not happening here, for the most part in New York, or Long Island. Sales are still strong. However the truth is homes went crazy for awhile, like they did back in the 80's, and we all got hit with a reality check. For the most part though, most sellers still have made a wonderful profit, if they made the proper corrections, or updates to their home. There is such a thing as over doing it too. So today EDUCATION on BOTH sides is KEY!

I am that honest person to let you know what works and what doesn't. Sometimes it is HARD to hear the truth, but bottom line today it is what it is, and I would get you the most of every dollar you put in period if I can, as there is such a thing as over doing your home, compared to either what's around you, or the area you live. BUT UNLESS BOTH Buyer and Seller are educated, the harder we all can come to terms on prices of a persons home. Buyers look for homes to compare in the neighbrohood. They question why is this home this price, and down the street allot more. The TRUTH is that UNLESS your home is "tooth brush" ready to move in, then most homes average around the same in price. I will tell you what you have done right or wrong, an where you will gain in price, and where you can lose or come out even too. On the buyers side of this, it couldn't be a better time to buy, ESPECIALLY the FIRST TIME BUYER. Our buyers today are very smart. They use the internet and look everywhere FIRST, before they even come to me. They ask questions, do their own homework, and my job is to answer them properly, and EDUCATE them too. It's not a market where they think they can just offer any price and it has to be it. We SHOW them comparables, and educate them like we do the seller, on how the market is working today. This way we get both sides to understand, compromise along the way, and make both Buyer and Seller happy with the settled price.

I am like my husband says, a 24/7 agent. Other than sleeping a few hours a night, I am there for my Buyer or Seller. I go through all the emotions that come along with buying or selling a home too. I am NOT pushy, I believe both have the right to take their time in decision making, and truly believe in the buyer/broker experience ( for the buyer). That phrase is also NEW to most New Yorkers, where now the buyer can have a say in the purchasing process, and mainly hire myself as their exclusive agent, preview homes on their behalf, disclose anything we know about the home upfront, and help in the suggested offer price as well. Right now, and through the years an agent has always worked for the seller, but who buys the home? Now the buyer can have those very same rights. If they aren't sure how this process works? AGAIN EDUCATION, as I educate BOTH sides. Thus like the above, I live by my motto.
