Time has given me many gifts as a realtor. I started working as a resort property specialist. Then, for a short time, moved into another community to learn how to sell primary residences and evaluate the differences. Selling resort properties takes an entirely different type of approach to clients. We are selling dreams and fantasies that people don't really need to have but having these things completes them. Tapping into the hopes and wishes of clients is a specialty of mine. Listening to what they need and not just their words has taught me to truly understand how to satisfy what they have in their minds, when looking for property in the mountains. Years ago a young woman taught me the art of listening and probing to get enough information from clients that I could actually be the avenue to help them realize their dreams. Resort properties are basically toys for clients who can afford them. They aren't pressured to have a second, third or fourth property they simply want it. Often, it isn't a priority in their lives at first, until they realize how important it is to get away. The want a place they can still call home but leave the world of the rat race behind. Some decide to bring work with them and the peace, privacy and quiet helps to do the work justice. We have some of the most gifted and talented property owners anywhere in California. They all perform beautifully in their elements and when they come to Big Bear they can dress casually, put their feet up, or they can participate in activities of their choice, have fun and get away from the pressures of their daily worlds. It all depends on what their imaginations lead them to. I can find that place of solice and creativity for them. I can take the pressure of getting the job done off of them. They can trust in my guidance and service to their needs. Whether they are looking for a tiny little cabin in the woods or a mansion on the lake I will find it for them. My clients are my priority. Every client is as important as the next from 25 foot by 100 foot lots to elaborate Lodges, My clients are for life.
