Hello and thank you for taking the time to read my profile.
Let me introduce myself, my name is Rob Tomasso with Shea Realty and I have been involved with Real-Estate for over 20 years. My family has owned investment property ever since I can remember. As landlords we handled almost all of our repairs and renovations, this is something that I feel truly sets me apart from other Real-Estate people. I have a realistic eye for repairs and return on investment. fixing it up is one thing but making sure the numbers really work is something all together different. It always make me wonder why an agent would put a buyer into an investment property if it doesn't have positive cash flow...
After buying investment properties for myself I began to get more involved with New Construction. After all that rehabbing of older homes I felt spoiled working on a new house. I enjoyed this very much but after several years I starting seeing the leaps and bounds that Modular Home Construction was making and I ventured into it. If I only had know about Modulars sooner I would have had a easier life :) Though they all look the same on the outside, by trial and error I was able to find 2 Modular Manufactures that meet my standards and am still working with them today.
In '2001' I started my training to get my Real-Estate sales person license. Though for the first few years I did it more as a side line I new that I wanted to become more active in the near future and open more own Real-Estate Brokerage. In '2005' I started on my quest and started to get more active as a Realtor. In '2006' I received my Real-Estate Brokers license and made plans to open my own Real-Estate company within a years time. It took me a year and a half but I achieved my goal and opened SHEA REALTY and couldn't be happier.
I enjoy meeting and working with new people on a daily basis and over the years I have created a great foundation of team members to make my job as a Realtor go smoothly. Best of all it makes my clients Real-Estate experience enjoyable as well.
Though continuing Real-Estate education is required I have made it a point to go above and beyond what is required. Currently I have my GRI (graduate real-estate institution) and ABR (accredited buyers rep) designations. Though there is no designation for it through training and on the job experience I am also very familiar with Real-Estate Auctions and can assist my buyers during the live Auction process.
Short Sales is something that is very popular right now. With the current market trends they have forced hard working people to make some hard decisions. Again from class room training and also hands on training I am able to assist my clients through this process. To do this I make my sellers aware of all their options both pro and con and work as a negotiator with the Lender to help keep the seller from going into Foreclosure and seriously effecting their credit long term. As a buyers Representative I am able to aggressively work on their behalf to get them the property that fits their needs.
Whatever your situation I feel that I am very well versed and can work for you to assist in making the best decision.
Thank you again for your time
