Jim Copeland has been in the land development, construction and real estate brokerage business for over 37 years. His former company built over 500 homes, created a number of residential subdivisions, formed profitable partnerships, and developed industrial and commercial projects. He was also the Acquisition and Development Coordinator for one of the largest multi-family development companies in the United States. He has marketed hundreds of properties and consults with builders and developers. Jim has also been involved in cell phone tower acquisition and leasing. Jim's primary interest area is in ranches, rural and recreational properties.
During the last 37 years, Jim has been involved in marketing over $200 million in properties. He has his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California.
He was the founder of El Dorado County Habitat for Humanity, Inc., served on the Board of Directors for the El Dorado Builders Exchange, the El Dorado County Housing Advisory Commission, El Dorado County Economic Advisory Committee and on committees for two California state legislators. He served on the Emerging Hope Board of Directors, a shelter for homeless women and their children. Jim is also involved as a child sponsor and volunteer with Compassion International and supports Heifer International.
