Richard DeBorde is a native of the Savannah area, growing up in the Savannah Sugar Refinery Village. A graduate of the University of Chicago School of Respiratory Therapy, Richard worked in the health care system in Savannah for over 30 years. Serving as President of the Georgia Society for Respiratory Care on 3 occasions gave Richard the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of professionals in many fields.

After early retirement he opened DeBorde Restorations with his son Jimmy in 1994. The company continues to provide Southeast Georgia with quality furniture restoration services.

Richard has been a Parishioner of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church for over 15 years and he continues to play an active role in the Parish. He has served the community in many areas and is currently active with Chatham Federal Credit Union where he has served more than 20 years on the Board of Directors and various committees.

His interest in working with people extends to the boating community as well. More than 20 years in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary has provided the opportunity to support boating safety and support the Coast Guard as a volunteer in many areas of safety and security.

This broad base of activities has prepared Richard for a career as a Realtor®. Knowledge and experience are the basis of quality service.
