When I am not selling real estate, you will most likely find me in the garden, and definitely, enjoying the outside, tending to my mini-farm which consists of 2 sheep, Jules and Roxy, 2 goats, Snickers and Ginger, 1 or 2 grass-fed beef cows and pigs at any given time (we raise our own food), 10 hens (love the extra large eggs, 2 rabbits (pets), Darla, our Great Pyrenees, Butternut, my cat of 17 years and a little orange baby kitty with blue eyes that showed up in our barn one day recently. We also recently acquired 21 ducklings from a client who was moving her farm from the SC Midlands to the Duncan area. They are so fun to watch swimming and eating. They think my hubby is their mom.
I grow vegetables & fruits without chemicals, tried making goat cheese (didn't go too well), would like to learn how to spin wool from the yearly sheep shearing, being as self-sufficient as possible, and maybe living in a yurt someday off the grid on some acreage with a beautiful view of God's creation.
