|My husband and I were contacted by Valerie ALMANZAR after our initial contact with Freedom Direct who deals with VA loans. Freedom Direct asked is we had already contacted a realtor to assist us with our home purchase. They offered us the choice of either our choice realtor or a recommendation by them for a preferred realtor of their choice in our choice location. Since we had not begun our home buying adventure, we opted to have them refer a realtor with VA home purchase experience in our area of Rio Rancho, NM. Within 24 hours, we received a call from Valerie. She immediately educated us on the steps that would take place from the start to finish. She ensured us that she would be there with us every step of the way. Our search for our home was short lived because our choice was made quickly. Valerie was great in that she was willing to show as many homes as we wanted and was a no rush, no pressure style realtor which made our viewings enjoyable. Our home buying timeline would have been about 6-8 weeks had there not been an issue with replacement of septic tank in order to pass home inspection, and the fact that sellers were out of country. I believe there was a lot of work happening behind the scenes, which was kept out of my space and handled without me having to spend any attention on it.
