Ellis was a frustrated stockbroker and financial consultant when he realized that traditional brokerage firms did not offer the full spectrum of investments to their clients to grow & protect their wealth in different economic cycles. He also realized that the combination of misinformation perpetuated by Wall St. & the lack of financial education in our schools was causing a generational crisis of epic proportion. This led him on the path to meet many mentors that have personally taught him their wealth building strategies. As a recognized as an expert in real estate and note investing, he has been interviewed by CNN Money Magazine, acknowledged in the “FLIP” one of the books in the national best-selling “Millionaire Real Estate” series by Gary Keller of Keller Williams, and lectures regularly at UCLA about investing in debt & real estate, and is a frequent invited guest speaker and panelist for many professional organizations & investment clubs. Earning his B.S. in Business Administration Finance & Real Estate, and Certificate in Financial Planning. Ellis shares unique perspective of over 20 years of experience as an investor in real estate, notes, and traditional stocks & bonds. Because of his commitment to creating a community of knowledgeable investors he co-founded FIBI (For Investors By Investors) a mastermind network consisting of a range of beginning to expert investors, FIBI began in 2007 & has grown to over 14 Chapters spread throughout California & Arizona. Ellis frequently sponsors other investment educational programs & events throughout the year in Los Angeles, Orange, San Diego, Riverside & Ventura Counties. Currently, Ellis is serving as Director of The Provestors Group, and also as a Real Estate Investment broker/advisor at Keller Williams Realty in Westlake Village, CA. The Provestors Group specializes on building passive income by investing in Commercial & Residential Income property & trust deeds. He is constantly striving to further develop his skills as an investor. Ellis loves to share his passion for investing with others, & seeks to surround himself with like-minded goal oriented individuals.
