After starting as a loan officer in 1989, Doug's journey as a mortgage banker in Salt Lake City and now Kansas City has taken him through many positions and responsibilities - each teaching him skills to benefit his clients.  He has worked in the small independent brokerages, mid-sized correspondent lenders and the "big banks", but he has chosen the mid-sized company as the ideal environment for him to provide the type of service his clients need.  Currently working as a mortgage banker in Kansas City, he started his career in northern California, moved to Las Vegas in 1992, then moved to Utah in 1995.  He moved to Smithville, MO just north of Kansas City in February 2016 with his wife, Deanne, and 18 children.  Well, he lives with only 13 his children since 5 are out of the nest -  three married and 1 living in Provo, UT attending BYU and one serving a mission for their church. 

Over 20 years of experience does allow plenty of time to focus on different areas of this business. As a Mortgage Banker serving both the Missouri and Utah markets, he has spent a number of years in each of the following areas - new construction; first time home buyers; all types of government financing, FHA, USDA, VA, State Bond Programs, city grants; high end/high net worth clients as a private mortgage banker; investment properties; underwriting authority on loans up to $1,000,000.  This just about covers anything related to mortgage financing for anyone buying or refinancing.  But with this ever changing mortgage world, if he doesn't know it, he knows where to find the answer.
