Warren Kirshenbaum is President and Founder of the Cherrytree Group, a Newton, MA based tax credit consulting firm. The Cherrytree Group provides consulting, brokerage, and syndication services for Brownfields Tax Credits, Renewable Energy Tax Credits and Historic Rehabilitation Tax Credits.
Warren has experience in both business and real estate. He has worked on corporate and securities transactions, tax credit transactions including the Massachusetts Brownfields Tax Credit, Renewable Energy Tax Credits, such as the Investment Tax Credit (ITC) and the Production Tax Credit, sometimes referred to as REC’s.
Warren founded the Cherrytree Group in 2006, with the vision to provide his clients with a "turn-key" tax credit experience. After nearly eight years in business, his company has expanded its staff and its menu of tax credit and financial services. At the core of the Cherrytree Group, is a dedication to providing, "Sophistication, Value and Follow-Through" to all of its clients.
Currently, Warren and his team at the Cherrytree Group advise business owners, real estate owners and developers on ways to monetize expenditures on energy efficient developments or additions, solar/geothermal, or biomass systems and environmental remediation as well as on raising and syndicating private equity; on Brownfields and environmental remediation; securing, monetizing, or trading tax credits, incentives, or grants, and developmental finance.
My expertise includes tax advantaged development (including solar, and other renewable energy tax credit transactions), commercial real estate transactions, business and corporate matters, syndicated fund work, and brownfields tax credit, historical, and renewable energy developments.
