Mike Morgan, J.D., CRS, SRES, GRI, e-PRO provides Internet Marketing services for real estate agents and brokers. Mike left the corporate world of Internet Marketing to start Morgan Florida Real Estate, a full service real estate company. But the Internet Marketing world followed him, and it wasn't long before Mike also formed m3 Internet Marketing. But after a heart attack and quadruple bypass surgery in May 2009, things changed. During recovery Mike decided to slow things down, including selling his real estate and Internet marketing companies.
Now Mike writes and speaks on Internet Marketing issues for real estate agents and brokers, as well as working with a select group of individual agents and brokers, providing personal and targeted services.
When Mike started his real estate business, he searched for the very best "website in a box" and he came up with "a la mode." In fact, no one else even came close to what "a la mode" offered, and things only got better. But that's what this blog is about and Mike is going to share a gazillion dollars worth of info with you.
As the former CEO of the Morgan Florida Real Estate Group, Mike's TEAM offered the most comprehensive research, analysis, consulting for residential and commercial clients, as well as the most comprehensive REO property disposition services throughout the State of Florida. Clients included financial institutions, builders, developers, portfolio managers, hedge fund managers and private investors. Working with such a broad spectrum of clients benefits all clients with non-confidential information that can be shared and exchanged.
On the REO Property Services side, Morgan Florida offered a comprehensive consulting service to lenders and asset managers for best practices, fraud detection and enhancement of REO property disposition.
In addition to these institutional services, Morgan Florida was a full service real estate company representing buyers and sellers throughout the state. For institutional clients, this provided them with a unique perspective on the markets, that went well beyond looking at numbers and reports that are 30-90 days old.
Morgan Florida was a member of the National Association of Realtors and Florida Association of Realtors.
Since 2004, Mike has worked with a number of international financial institutions to provide ground zero look at what buyers and sellers were thinking, as well as how builders and developers were operating. Mike provided a unique view into Florida, the Caribbean and national housing markets that eluded analysts simply regurgitating numbers. In addition to research and consulting services, Mike offered statewide tours of real estate markets and investment analysis on a variety of land, condo, single family and multi-family projects, as well as a look at the retail, commercial and specialty markets.

Prior to forming Morgan Florida, Mike was an independent agent with RE/MAX of Stuart. And prior to entering real estate Mike held executive positions with Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide and The Trump Organization on the casino resort side. At Starwood, Mike built a strategic Internet Marketing program complimented by Database Direct Marketing projects. Mike was responsible for brand marketing, creative services, technology development and new business markets. Under his tutelage these groups maximized the profitable revenue stream and exceeded established revenue goals and metrics.
At Trump Hotels & Casino Resorts, Mike was the featured marketing columnist for two leading international publications, Casino Executive and the Gaming Observer. In addition to his comprehensive international marketing experience, Mike has used his skills to hire, train and develop functional business units.
Mike earned his law degree from Nova Southeastern with concentrations in International Business Transactions and Real Property, passing the Florida and New Jersey Bar exams in one sitting. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University majoring in Finance.
m3 Internet Marketing - In addition to Mike's real estate interests, he was the President of "m3 Internet Marketing", an Internet Marketing company specializing in developing and managing Internet Marketing campaigns with the use of Sponsored Links, Search Engine Optimization and Website Development.
In the early 80's Mike built an international marketing company that was sold to a California group of investors. Following the sale, Mike earned his United States Coast Guard Captain's license and took an 18 month hiatus to live in Key West, operating a charter business for sport fishermen and divers. Mike holds an active USCG Captain's license and he enjoys fishing, diving and kayaking.

Foreclosure REO Specialist - Mike has completed the course work and exam from the American Real Estate University qualifying him as a REO (Real Estate Owned) Specialist. REO properties are bank owned properties that have been foreclosed. Mike has served as a consultant to banks, financial institutions and asset managers both here and abroad. As a specialist in the area of foreclosures and REOs, Mike can provide Buyers, Sellers, Investors and Owners with expert information and advice.
REOTRANS Platinum Certification - REOTRANS is the world's largest provider of services to the foreclosure markets for banks, asset managers, vendors and real estate brokers. Platinum Certification requires a series of eight knowledge segments and a score of 80% or higher on a comprehensive exam. As a Platinum certified Broker, Morgan Florida has better access to the foreclosure markets, and will be chosen to manage more properties than Brokers not completing the certification process.
GRI Certified - Graduate REALTOR® Institute designees have completed at least 120 hours of specialized real estate courses and made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services to their clients. The GRI curriculum incorporates a common body of knowledge for progressive real estate professionals. A REALTOR® who possesses the GRI designation has not only completed a course of study required by the program, but also subscribes to the Code of Ethics of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®. Any person awarded the GRI designation must be a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and must maintain that membership to retain the designation.

The SRES® designation was introduced in 1997 and is nationally recognized.
e-Pro Certified - The National Association of REALTORS® certifies real estate agents that have demonstrated advanced skills in Internet and Interactive Marketing.
