Originally from New York City, Zack is a graduate of The Stern Academy for Boys of Manhattan and The Fashion Institute of Technology. Prior to his career in real estate, he was a globe-trotting fashion executive. He owned and operated Work In Progress, one of the largest sweater import companies in New York and later served as a vice president of the specialty store chain Christopher & Banks. In addition, Zack was the owner, and editor-in-chief of Syracuse Magazine. In that post, he interviewed many celebrities and movie stars including Alec Baldwin, Vanessa Williams, and Louis Licari.

He has served on the Urbanist board of The Municipal Arts Society and sits on the board of The Downing International Hostel. As a very active preservationist, Zack has been instrumental in fundraising for The George and Rebecca Barnes Foundation. He is also passionate about two local cancer related charities, Hope for Heather and The Carol M. Baldwin Breast Cancer Research Fund.

Zack’s comprehensive knowledge of the region’s marketplace has made him a frequently cited expert on television, in The Week magazine, The Syracuse Post Standard, and, The New Times. He has a client roster that includes celebrities, politicians, and business leaders. Over the course of his career Zack has successfully dealt with both private individuals and developers to identify a home for purchase, renovation, and resale at significant profits in addition to working with individuals to identify long-term homes. He is adaptive to client needs, discreet, and known for his careful negotiations on their behalf.
