Does AR award points for activity in the Group Discussion arena?

They do! I received 115 points for asking a question, then 110 points for the next question. I also received 25 points for answering another member's question and 5 points for liking someone's question or answer. Here's a screen shot of my actual points awarded:

I'm not sure why points would drop on the second question. Maybe it starts high to encourage participation and then drops to a lower score once you've reached a certain level of activity.

If anyone has more information to share about this, I would love to hear from you!
