Many members regularly post over 10 blogs per week. It's not just for points. Plus, if there are enough comments, you do get points for those.

Right. That's how it's been most of the time. You do, however, get 25 pts + 4 pts for every comment, as soon as you reach 3 comments.
For a while, they reset the limit to 20, but personally I thought that was a big mistake as it led to lower quality posts and interestingly enough did not lead to more posts all together as many got annoyed and blogged less.

I usually post more than ten blogs each week and receive a lot of points from the comments and the 'likes'.
Points have little meaning since they do not reflect the quality of the blogs or the success of the bloggers.

You should blog for many other things, not just points.

I'm a Paloozzza blogger, one or two days a week I'll spend hours blogging, then I'll disappear for a few days to show homes and work. Regulations never work... just sayin... BTW... Huntington Beach just repealed the plastic bag rule. I was against it but then again, I don't make the rules, I just try and live with them.

I like the new limit of 10 posts per week....i can't even make that. However, limiting us to one reblog a day is tough.

Yeh, I remember that blog-a-palooza of 20 blogs/week. Some members made a lot of points those few weeks.
