Check out the blog post today from William Johnson. We collaborated on this and figured it out! Download the app of the year for 2014 to be able to rename the photo directly on the iPad. This is the glitch that prevents photo insertion from the iPad. Then touch upload photo a whole bunch of times until you find the renamed photo in your pictures. It's a Breeze. Go fire up your iPad and photo blog away!

The app of the year is Pixelmator. In the image section, touch the name of the photo, delete what is there, and then type in the new name. This step prevents all the old blog posts with photos with the same name from changing unintentionally. Big iPad photo insertion glitch in AR corrected with this extra step!

Cheryl, if I'm inserting a photo, I usually just save what I've written and wait until I can get to my real computer!

Those Ipads have been problematic with AR over the years, are they working now?

I saw the information on William Johnson's blog. It is good advice for iPad users.
