UPDATE: I posted that question in 2014, 5 years ago, and chose the first option. I launched a successful brokerage in Florida. Two years ago, I moved the family to Lake Norman area of North Carolina to get back to 4 seasons albeit mild ones. I opened a brokerage in October 2017 and immediately partnered with an unknown real estate company, eXp Realty, with 4,000 agents in the U.S.
Last month, I permamently joined eXp Realty as the Managing Broker for North & South Carolina. With 21.000 agents worldwide, eXp is the World's fastest growing real estate company! We are on the NASDAQ and growing strong!

Neither!
In the choices you present, there is no indication of your goals.
There lacks any information regarding if you are a shaper of minds or master of behavioral modification, a minder of detail. Is your genius mainly based on who, what, how or why?
What should you do? Follow the path that compliments your genius and offers you the opportunity for relevance and a life of value. With whom you sojourn along the way is not as important as you knowing where you are going.

It's all about the cost, market penetration of the brand, and are you a competing broker, this is an apples or orange's question?
