I try to. Even my FB profile is very business oriented with a personal touch. I want them to see me as a real person, but I don't air my dirty laundry there like I see so many other people.

No, and I advise our clients not to do it.  The issue of privacy is a huge one in the luxury circles.  There is without FB already too much information on people out there.  I sat in December with a top notch expert on the subject and she absolutely advised against doing that, precisely for the reasons I stated.  A

If they "friend" me I will, of course, accept. But, I don't make that a habit. 

I think it is a good idea to add all of your prospects as Facebook friends. This is the way to get to know about their personal interests.

It depends if you try to keep sone things personal, if so no, but if you are a public person, then accet all friends. I try to keep some distance.

I don't make a point of doing it. More often, I add past clients because by then we have a relationship already. Although, sometimes my current clients have asked to friend me.

Anita, it's the same as with my personal page.  It used to not allow likes, but it does now.
