I have done research for over 20 years on Credit Bureaus and how they operate. I have also researched hundreds of credit reports. I have studied the FCRA (Fair Credit Reporting Act). I have found that there are more mistakes on credit reports than people know of. I have finally found a company that has been in business since 2004 and love what they do. Through many sleepness nights, goggling and taking notes, I have found it. This company has real live attorneys that know the law and will use that law to increase anybodys credit score. I have seen with my own eyes student loans deleted and even a bankruptcy deleted a few times. If items are not entered correctly on reports, they can and will come off. I do not recommend these companies but send to lenders that have some peopel skilled in getting serious buyers' credit cleaned up.

Credit repair is offered by many reputable mortgage brokers as well as mortgage bankers, they can do just fine over the time it takes to heal those credit bruises.
As for credit boosting...

They should check with their loan officer first before they do anything. A good loan officer can get a score up 35+ points, and advise what to do and what not to do. Those credit repair companies can't do anything that your clients can't do themselves.
