www.HomesforSaleinSaleLake.com is available
www.Saltlakecityhomesforsale.com (like Tammy said).
And you can have more than one domain and point them to your website . . . I have many . . .
Those would be terms that someone might use when searching for a home in your area.

If this is going to be your main website then you want to have your main keyword to be your main url and you want to buy another url- your brand- to be the one you tell people and for your direct mail.
So your main url that you are hosting should be your main keywords: SaltLakeCityHomesForSale.com or .net
And for your forwarding url you should have Sellmyhomeinsaltlake.com or something that you can brand like that.
I would also forward your own name but since your name is hard to spell and people will make errors typing it in, I would not tell people that is your url. But for those who do know you- that should also be a domain.
You don't tell people the long url- that is for the search engines to better know what your site is about.
The url with the term "best" in it is not a good keyword phrase unless it is Best Agent in Salt Lake. That is a good term to go after if you are trying to get listings online.
You don't have to have the term UT or Utah in your url because google already knows that Salt Lake City is in Utah. That is what comes up in any search. BTW- I lived in Salt Lake City:)

Gary the dot com scene is rough. If you can handle a dot net or other extension you may have more choices. Good luck.

How are folks going to FIND your website?
ONLY if you expect the citizen to TYPE in the URL off of some media they received, the domain you buy will have little bearing.
Online traffic will be directed by your compaings and SEO which means no one is typing anything.
I would go with 'AskGaryB.com, .us. .info, .guru'

Looks like you have already chosen but for the record I would also choose saltlakebesthomes.com better.
There will be instances where the url will be lower-cased (or upper-cased) for you automatically so saltlakeuthomes.com is almost unreadable.

The daily stocking the shelves with fresh content, imagery, video and making it more than just Utah homes for sale will be the test of market share results though. Good luck on the exercise and have more than one domain for specific purposes and cross pollinate for win, place, show... more than one slot on the front page search index display. To improve your odds, increase your exposure/frequency.

Also, when you write it out, use SaltLakeBestHomes.com. It will make it easier to read and remember.
I also like the idea of having more than one name and pointing it towards it.

I like SaltLakeBestHomes.com, myself. But be sure you also have your own name as a domain, ie, GaryBranscombe.com.

Gary Branscombe both are good - as long as they are '.com'.
And later, it all depends on the content.

So not misspell works as an advertisement!
Oops, I misread... I would choose the second.

I have read the UT and Utah SEO the same. So my choice would be SaltlakeUTHomes.com Maybe get that one now and explore deeper knowing you have at least one good one under your name. Mark

Sometimes you need to grab what you can get...then again, find out who has the other names and see if they are for sale.
