This is an important question that we should all be involved in far beyond AR. Are we and the public better off without Zillow and Trulia? At some point will Zillow and Trulia move toward greater lead capture with our work product and thereafter increase our cost to receive the leads? At some point will they enter the brokerage side of the business via VOW? Lots of questions...

As of now, they are not. But my listings get syndicated out to Trulia and Zillow via RE/MAX and other sites.

I have no idea, but seems each local MLS should decide what they want to do. I just listed a house and it came on trulia the second day, not on Zillow yet.

Our leaves it totally up to the individual broker to decide and most are allowing the listings to be syndicated with a max of 4 photos. The reasoning is it is in the seller's best interest.

Russ Ravary good question - we cannot ask them what to do or what not to do - so it will be interesting to see what happens with our MLS.

I haven't heard anything yet, meanwhile, we can still add our listings directly if we wish.

Our MLS is working on an agreement to send the listings to trulia. I'm not sure of the details of it yet.
