I was showing a large home to a couple.  They pulled up with 4 vans full of people...39 in total thinking they were all going to run through the house.  I told then 6 was max. at any showing.  They had both parents and uncles aunts and kids...not pets.  I often wonder what the neighbors thought!

I think 8 was about max. The couple brought their uncle, aunt, mom and dad and there were a few kids. 

I had the husband and wife with 3 kids, mother, father and someone else.  That would be 8.

I think I have had 5 or 6.  My worst was a home inspection when there must have been 12 people that showed up.  I knew nothing about it

I can't recall denying entry. I have had sisters, in-laws, friends, work associates show up unannounced and had to do traffic control taking smaller groups through at a time while some waited in their cars or in the driveway. The client would have to go through each time with them. It doesn't really bother me as long as the group is small and stays together.

Probably 6 or 7.  If everyone in the family needs to see it, I'd rather they do it BEFORE we write the offer. 

If the home is occupied and with personal possessions, I typically won't let more than 2 at a time.

Years ago I used to take groups of investors out to look at homes. I would usually limit the groups to around 20 but sometimes more would show up. I have probably had 25 or 26 people with me multiple times. The hardest part was keeping everyone together in the group as we drove around town caravan style. Sometimes people would get lost. This was before smart phones and GPS.   

Chief Cook has had six....the kids and the two sets of parents.  She draws the line when it comes to having little ones around when there are that many people.

The most I have ever had was 6 - parents, grandparents and 2 kids. And I knew they were all coming! Like Michael Jacobs   I would handle a busload as William Feela did

Like William Feela , I've watched the extended family and the unrelated 'Uncle Joe' the self-proclaimed housing expert, arrive like an invading army.

Hi Vern -- interesting question.   For individual showings, I've never had an issue with large numbers.   If I was faced with the scenario described by William Feela --- I would handle it in the same way he did  -- yikes -- 39!

I guess that would be open houses - where I once had 10-12 people in the house at once.
