With me, they'll probably need to call that undertaker (even thought I think about retiring at least once a day, Bob)!

As long as you love what you do and enjoy it, there is no need to retire!!! You can stay as a referral agent, or sell your book of business to someone in your office

There probably is a time. But like aging athletes and actors, everyone else recognizes it before we do.

Knowing how to excell with the tech tools is essential for agents of all ages, if they cannot or will not learn then either hire an assistant or consider a change.

Bob, I really enjoy what I am doing selling real estate and I plan to go ten more years before I retire.

I am in my 26th year of real estate and having more fun at it than ever. My wife and I do take a month off in vacations every year and we have enough pasive income that we don't have to work. At 67 I can see myself playing a role in real estate for another 5 years and will be a regional vice-president for NAR next year. For as long as I stay in I want to be contributing to the industry and teaching becasue I am so grateful for the career I have had.

Sometimes the dinosaurs need to retire because they are so old school. I had one that did not text or email!

When they pry my hands open they will find the mind map for another 'frontier of human perception' project that is about to begin.
Hopefully my calling away will create massive disruptions in the schedules of other people. The fear we all acknowledge is if all that comprises who we are is not called away at the same time.

I love this business and still have many years ahead of me but I don't plan on doing this when I'm 70 or 75. I plan to travel, volunteer, etc.

I have worked with agents in their late 70s and I am convinced i can do it if I want to.... The undertaker is on speed dial...

I don't see an age to retire from Real Estate. You just become less involved.

I am the Broker, so it would be pretty hard to call the undertaker, but yes, I plan on working as long as I can.

I will retire one day although I may retain my license and refer all business to full time agents. I do not intend to be out showing real estate in my 70s and 80s.

I certainly plan on retiring at some point in the future from real estate. I believe the magic age will present itself when I have enough in savings, and I feel that I have helped enough people in my career.
