Robert (Bob) Gilbert - Bob - I have a YouTube Video account for just my real estate business.
I do handle a few listings a year, but I really am a second home buyers' agent, so my videos are not typically about listings, but about the area, lifestyle, things to do, annual events, neighborhoods, HOA recreational amenities, and condo development profiles.
Doing videos takes a lot of time, and everything on my videos is edited, has full SEO, and CC optimized, they are not a slide picture show set to music they are full-on videos with narration.
Since I do them myself, I am inconsistent about doing them ( you can't show property and edit video at the same time), but I do average 2-3 new videos a month and now have over 50+ videos.
It's great to have them on your website, and when a buyer is interested in a condo development, send them a link, or to show the life style by community. These are great if you are working with relocation buyers. By default you will become the local expert as 99% of the agents out there are not doing them, and Google give you credit for having these extra items on your site and in your blog posts.
If you don't know what to do, watch some of the other AR members here and see what they do on their videos and when you find a formula you like (the more you do them, the more you find a routine that works for you), take it and use it as your map to start doing videos in your area!
A good goal to start with would be 2-3 a month, over 12 months you'll end up with 2-3 dozen videos. Start with something easy - like a neighborhood park, or condo development. The topic is focused, and you can follow what other agents are doing to present similar items.
Have more questions, call, or email me! Happy to help you get started!

Usually I create about 8 a month on the average. I have found it to be the number one source for clients.

I do have an account. I don't do videos on my listings, but I do them on local events. I enjoy doing video. I should do more of it.

Bob, I do have a channel, and have produced several videos, but not recently. Time is spent working on the deals, and have no extra time right now.

Yes I do, Bob. Typically I create a video, sometimes two, for every listing I have.

Yes I do have Youtube videos. I actually have two channels to split the titles of the videos.
I produce about 30 to 40 of them per month with me infront of the camera. Sometimes I use headphones to narrate.
I make them for listings too. There is software like Animoto that makes it easy. Now they charge. The Hyperlapse app is another one.
