Yes they do. However, if the next buyer applies for a convential or VA loan, the FHA appraisal isn't even an issue.

To my knowledge, yes an FHA appraisal will stay relevant for other would be FHA contracts.

They do however I heard about a work around where you can order a USDA appraisal and convert it over to FHA if it is higher.

FHA Appraisals come with an FHA case#, and case #'s are property specific, so yes, this will stick to the home for 6 months.  HOWEVER, if you can prove that there were material errors or issues with the quality of an appraisal report, you can work around it and use a new appraisal.

Yes, If it is an FHA, I'm afraid they stay with the house for 6 months, no matter how many buyers there are.

I don't know for how long, but one of the mortgage brokers I work with recently told me that an FHA appraisal is transferable with the property so that if the first buyer does not close and another buyer decides to buy... it stays with the property.

Hello Ron , yes they do  stay with the property for 6 months, i do believe you can put the difference to bring down the amount to what the lender will do on the home, your best bet would be to talk to the lender you are working with, he might have another option maybe go conventional and do a new appraisal but he will have the best answer for you.
