zero.  All realtors now post their phone # on signs. These days realtors are virtually putting their face in front of a realtor to get noticed.

Our office has 385 agents in one office. They got like 2 calls through the receptionist a year.

Many of the offices here have done away with floor agents. Cell phones are great in that respect.

We get both walk ins and calls. There is value in floor time at my office. The amount of walkins has really picked up this year.

I got so busy about 6-7 years ago I gave up floor duty for a month. I never got free enough to take it back. I ask others in my office if they get anything from it and most say not much.

Hi Paul -- ActiveRain has become floor time for me --- it's a numbers game...but this forum has a better return on time for me.

I no longer do floor time.  I've "found" both sellers and buyers there but it's not part of my current lead generation activities.

Paul S. Henderson I have never done floor duty in my office - except first few months, where I have no idea what it was!

I don't take phone duty. I am busy enough and I believe in "active" prospecting!

I haven't done floor time in 15 years. However, if I was in a resort destination or a second home place like Santa Fe or Breckenridge Co. I would do floor time.

Floor time with a beach side office, on the weekends, can be very rewarding.

Interesting answers. Floor duty is a love/hate relationship.

My office has walkins from time to time. We are across the street from Ron Jons in Cocoa Beach. A lot of cruise traffic comes in. I'm on floor now.

Our office does not even offer floor time but years ago when I was with EXIT we had to do floor time..........I think I got a couple of clients from it.

We are a small office that also does property management so our phone isn't dedicated to sales.  But we do have assigned times for each agent if anyone calls/walks in looking for an agent.  We are in a sidewalk community & still get walk in business.  I've closed a few sales thanks to walk-ins

I am no longer a floor agent but with coldwell banker I only had rental calls and I did not  have anyone just walk in.  In 2 years I did not get a call to list a home or a buyer hoping to buy.

We don't have agents do floor duty at our company.  It seems in this digital age that there would be very few walk-ins.

I used to find it very valuable when I worked in an office outside my home.  I usually worked Monday mornings - they were the best.  We would get walk ins and and phone calls.  Most of the people looking over the weekend were calling in or stopping by - this is the way they started off their week if they were serious!

Back in 2003 just after we joined a franchise someone failed to show up for floor time.  A couple walked in and the broker sent us out to help them.  We sold them a new build that day!  Apart from that - we never did floor time!

We both work remote from our home so we do not participate in floor time.
