I get a few of these a week, Jan.  Even though I wait for the end of the message and click on option 2 or 9 to have me removed from there call list.  These folks are not Google and are just trying to sell you their products.

I've been getting a lot of these calls too. I answer if I am driving my car with nothing better to do. When they ask if I would like to be on the first page of Google, I tell them "OH NO, please put me on the LAST page of Google. How much will that cost me?" After I leave them hanging for awhile, I hang up. Try it, it's fun!

I like it when they say they are working with google/bing and have a "top spot" for "one agent in my area" that they need filled. PPC anyone?

Probably never Google, in most cases scam SEO companies. If you are newly verified on Google particularly you get a lot of these. Even if a company looks legit and sounds good, run. They have usually changed their name several times to hide their bad track record. My rule of thumb even for local vendors, is if I didn't do the research and call them, then I dont answer the door.

Nearly every day and although i block the number, they call from another number the next day manipulating the caller id.

I would never respond to a robo call - If you want to contact google - you can do it on your own.

Hi Jan -- sounds like another case of someone trying to capture and separate agents and their $$$$.    I'm not a fan of automated calls and as far as wrestling goes -- I think that's an appropriate word for things that should be fixed.  And left alone.

Jan, around 2:30, on the dot every day, I get a strange Automated call from Google. Sometimes it's Google Maps, or a Listing Call. This is common, and sometimes it's for surveys. I usually hang up, unless one of my Listings specifically is mentioned. I'm too busy for Solicitors and non-sense phone calls. That's just my opinion though. Use your best Judgment. If it happens to you at least 3 times, then you'll know what it is, after listening fully the 1st or 2nd time, if it is personally important or critical to you and your Listings.
