Being transactional. I did a poor job of following up after closing deals. These days, most of my business comes from clients I've had over the past couple years. If I did as good a job as keeping in touch my first 1-3 years in the business, I'd have a much larger pipeline.

2. To win as a newbie you need to go where you see the money.

3. You don't get paid warming a stool in a conference room.

I would not start with a big box company.....or, at least, not as an agent. The best way to start in this business( if no experience), to work with/for a successful agent or team for ,at least, a year.
