John,
I did not like the ones where we had to do some specific writing addressing subjects, it was complicated. I loved Roger D. Mucci 's Oscar contest. I loved seeing all the member particpate. I loved this month's Rick Obst because we learned so much about an area. A

I also enjoy the contests in which we get to learn more about our fellow members and where they live, like the contest I just finished hosting. It's fun to see the creativity shown when writing about topics we're very familiar with, but also local to our communities.
One of the posts in the You Might Be From ___ If contest sparked an idea I may propose for a future contest.

I like the ones where we get to learn more about the members here, like the one where we called other members. I also like challenges where we learn more about a place, like Debbie Reynold's current challenge. I'm not crazy about the 30 in 30.

I like time all but if I do not have time, work comes first.

My favorite contest are the ones where we write using humor. I appreciate the twist of taking a rough day and making it an event to smile about.

I don't particualrly care for the 30 in 30 contests though I blog everyday. If it is too complicated I don't enjoy those either. My favorites are the ones I can sit right down and write or call a member and get to know someone better.

I do not like the 30 in 30 because some days I am too busy to write. I try to schedule in advance but there is a glitch with Ar sometimes and it does not get posted. I alos do not like ones where I nned to keep a spreadsheet to see what I have written.

I'm with you. I no longer like the 30 in 30...not a good use of my time, nor the ones w/ tons of requirements as Barbara Todaro mentions. There have been a few in the past that were so complicated and hard to keep track of. That is dumb.
Personally, I loved the phone call ones and several of the ones to share interesting unknown facts. I also liked the 2 December challengs (from several years ago) that required us to do at least 1 thing each day to grow our business so that Q1 would be strong. It was the right thing to do (and really helped my biz and me push myself) but not too restrictive.
I dislike the localism ones or ones that include that as a component as that is not a good use of my time and doesn't apply to most non-real estate agents.
Now, I have gotten so busy (in part due to my blogging which has been a powerhouse to me) and they work ongoing for me as they are evergreen. Now, my goal is simply to do 1 quality epic Q&A post per month. Quality over quantity rocks.

I like the 30 in 30 challenges..... least favorite are the ones that have too many requirements....no time for it...

John Meussner I like 'Cloudbursts' which come up with something new - everytime. Also, I learned how to write market reports from one of the contests couple of years ago.
Least like - the one that gives no points...(and that does not happen...)
