well, if too many of us received it, then it must be a robot that successfully farmed the email addresses off ActiveRain and sent mass mail. Tis raises another question on how easy or difficult is for similar folks to lay hands on emails and other information by thse spiders off ActiveRain?

I think a lot of us got that one, including me.  I reported it to AR earlier today and, hopefully, they'll delete her profile/membership.

I have also received this message. AR should find a way to deal with this ASAP as it reflects poorly on them. 

I receive emails like that as well but after googling the email address, I find out it's spam and the same email address is on other different sites with same exact wording. These spammers need to get a life and do something productive! I guess that would be productive (at least to them) because it's their job whether legal or illegal!

I get these every day it seems. So frustrating

If I received it, I never opened it. Anything I receive that suggests something out of the ordinary goes to my trash bin.

yep, got to love spam. These emails are crawling from all networks. AR is not an exception.
