Attention AR Staff: Can we get some maintenance work done on the GROUPS, please?

Lots of people have dropped out of participating in Active Rain since policies have changed. [I do not like the policies but I will not pick that fight here]

Specifically, I participate in the Wordpress Blog. It appears that the founder of this group who is also the moderator is no longer participating in Active Rain. The quality of the posts in that group have been destroyed by one or two people who consistently make off topic posts.

The function of the groups has become ineffective. I wonder how many groups have ceased to function well because the moderators have moved on.

Perhaps a great project for AR staff would be to work on the groups and moderators to make sure the groups are moderated by AR members who are still active in AR.

John - I have felt the same way about groups. There are a lot that could be cleaned up, or deleted entirely if they are no longer active.
