Of course. This is a great idea.

You noted they are not personalized. This most likely means the broker is paying for the mailing. Hopefully the mailing highlights benefits and service offered by that broker. As an agent you may come to think, "My broker doesn't do this." Then you start observing, "I'm not feelin' the love from by broker." So you pick up the phone.

Since I pay for my advertising I purge known agents from my list. However, they are popping up like misquotes on a summer eve.

Good morning Silvia,

I do not send other agents my newsletters. I weed them out as I have 14 agents who live in the community I market!

NO - I my opinion that would be a waste of print and postage cost.

Yes, - I do send (email) just listed and price changes to them.

Silvia Dukes PA, REALTOR, CRS, CIPS, SRES not sure what they want to prove by sending them - more so when they are not personalized. You are just one more email address in their database.

You would not want to do that!

I wouldn't do it but have received newletters from other agents. I just assumed they didn't realize that I was on the list. I don't have time to read their letters.

I don't do it.  And I in fact have friends and past clients who drop off direct mail and forward emails from other agents to me and say "thought you'd want to see this"

John McCormack  I wouldn't do it neither.

Barbara Todaro maybe, it just loses a whole lot of momentum when half a dozen or so of identical newsletters show up in your mailbox.

Why would you want to give your ideas to competitors? Its a waste of your resources as well as ideas. I would definitely remove them from your list for future marketing endeavors.
