I run 40 miles a week, 500 push-up, 300 sit-ups. Not sure a fit bit would do anything other then create another surface from which sweat must be removed.
But, it is clear, folks are benefiting from these devices. It is that benefit, not my opinion, that really matters.
Get moving. Who knows, you just might end up someplace you've never been before and meet a healther more engergized you.

Hi, Erik...you have to read my posts on this. My broker gave each of us a FitBit for Christmas. We actually got them around the middle of Dec. That timing is important, because he told us to take the time until the end of the year to set our weekly average. Then he issued us a challenge. For every month we go over our average, in the new year, he would give us a cash bonus. I've exceeded my average every month so far.
The FitBit challenge in my office is also something that has helped bring office members together. We have something else besides business to talk about, and we do talk about the challenge. I love it.

I had not even heard of them until my youngest daughter (who is an agent at my office) was showing it to another agent. Of course hers is a Tory Burch!! I guess its part fashion statement and part health benefit.....As for me I have not succumbed to the temptation of a Fitbit like the young millenials in my office!
