Hi Mike - not familiar with Mr Maxwell or his team. Like Groucho Marx might say -- I'm not likely to join especially if he/they wanted me or my money.

I tell people my team name is "No Name Team". Last month I was top listing agent and 6th best YTD at my brokerage of 67 broker associates and agents. When I need help I have a team of realtors, assistant often drop everything to support me. To me this team concept works well if you can support all members keep them 100% of time. You need to strike on your own or you will not make it in r.e.

Agents can make these claims as long as no regulations are violated. Worrying about this is not a productive use of your time.

Sorry guys and gals but my question has been not made clear to one and all. John Maxwell, famous author of leaderhip books, has a leasdership program called the "Maxwell Team". I'm NOT talking real estate teams here. What I'm asking is has anyone JOINED the "John Maxwell Team" on leadership. Sorry for the confusion.

Mike,
You could have two or more agents get together and work as a team. Or you could have a situation where an agent will hire listing and buyers agents and call themself a team.

I agree with Roy on this Mike. Why should you be worried and taking up your time on this. Agents do what they feel is best for them ( and hopfully their clients) at different stages of their careers.
