Listening skills boost my communication skills, and carefully chosen vocabulary depending on the subject.

Keep listening to 'Words To Win With' CD from Brian Buffini.
Of course, one needs to keep learning daily - something new, from your friends, coach, colleague and even a young family member.

Yes, it's universal, the number one skill to strengthen communication is listening. We teach it as actively listening and being present with the other person. The second is asking great questions and leading with questions.
I taught an interesting bit of communication skill yesterday. From some Harvard psychology research that asking a question with a reason gets a yes response far more often than asking a question without a reason.
Like this. "Shall we put your house on the market tonight?" This will get a yes less often and less easily than, "Shall we put your house on the market tonight so we can get you the highest possible price."
It turns out that adding a reason, even if the reason is obvious gets agreement more easily and more often. I've tested it for a long time and it seems true in my experience as well.

The best communication skills that I use, is to let my clients talk and for me to listen.
