Many years ago, I was accompanying another female agent to a showing....we were going out to meet other agents for a few drinks.... it was a hot summer evening, and the male buyer had a pair of shorts on and the barn door was open....this guy kept putting his hands in his pockets and the door flew "wide open" everytime he did that.... I had all I could do to keep a straight face and the other agent would not look at me because she knew I would laugh out loud..... after the showing was over, we both howled and continued to do that all night after sharing the story at the bar.... I'm laughing NOW thinking about it....

No and funny stuff. Just another reason for me not to hold an open house.

Oh how funny Paul. I can't remember that happening but it probably has in the 35 years in the business. You know the brain protects us from remembering embarrassing moments like that.

oh my...that's funny now, but at the moment I'm sure it was not funny. how awkaward I'm glad you swiftly survived your open house, Paul...My pant leg got snagged on a nail sticking out of the fence once, but I luckily caught my footing and not much damage was done.

Hi Paul -- once while showing a very pregnant buyer a home the automatic gate locked us inside a vacant property and I had to scale a fence to open it manually and I ripped my pants(no wardrobe malfunction but the suit pants were ruined).

I stepped in a dog mess once. That was bad enough...

I once put my foot in what I thought was solid mud and sank about 6 inches, and other than that it is an occassional food spill on my clothing. I dare not even take a sip of coffee while driving any more or it is everywhere.

Yes, fell down the center stair way and ripped a good whole in the rear of my pants. I had to end the open house immediately after they left.
I did get a call the follow day from the wife asking if I was OK. I lttle red in the face but not broken bones or cuts.

Yes. I was showing 10 houses yesterday to first buyers, meeting second buyers afterwards. Had an incident in the am walking our dog and I was bit. I washed the wound, dressed it, and went to work. About half way thru, I noticed a small red dot on my pants. Within the hour it was a huge, massive dripping red mess that was about 6 inches wide. It was gross and I felt bad, but not time to change and finsihed the day with both clients.
The pants could not be saved, they had served me well.
