Arlene, first you are off to a good start by posting here, but to get local attention I would go to the Activerain state (ie MD, then county or city) communities and narrow it down to all the local markets you wish to include, and then send each one a personal invite.

I do not believe there is a way to target a group of individuals here in one blast.

A personal invite will get you more attention than an email blast. Find out by going to your state and city on the leaderboard who is in Activerain and call them if you can find a number. If not then send them an email to invite. I think you may be on too short a notice to get much attention or response.
