Verizon, our original company was bought by them, and we have been happy with them when we lived in Napa, now in Santa Barbara, and were also happy using the phone while in Europe.
A friend of ours loves TMobile. A

After dealing with Verizon, and ATT, I use Virgin Mobile and never had a single problem. Very satisfied.

Hi John -- I've had T-Mobile but a number of years now. Prior to that I had AT&T(through all of their name changes, buyouts and mergers). Although, I imagine none are perfect I'm happy with the service/coverage of T-Mobile - less(although not eliminated) drop-off calls and pretty reliable wi-fi hot spot.
Good luck.

I would suggest looking at the various options and looking at their respective coverage maps for both phone and data. Many company's roaming agreements don't include data roaming, so if you are as addicted to your smart phones data service as I am, that is a huge determining factor.
I am in Idaho, and am a Sprint Customer using NAR's discounts. However, I also have a Verizon MIFI device since Verizon does have better data coverage around the country and I need that when I travel and teach real estate classes.
